4. Product and Service Information
Crow and Timber strives to ensure accuracy in all descriptions, images, and information presented on the Site. Placing an Order
1. Overview
Orders placed through the Crow and Timber website (“Order”) are subject to acceptance and availability. By placing an Order, you agree to provide complete and accurate information, including your name, billing address, shipping address, email, and payment details.
All Orders are reviewed and accepted at the discretion of Crow and Timber. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Order if the item is unavailable, information is inaccurate, or payment cannot be processed.
2. Product Availability
Because our work is handcrafted in limited quantities, availability may vary. Some pieces are made to order, while others may be in stock and ready to ship. Estimated lead times will be provided at checkout or in your Order confirmation.
If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an Order, we will notify you and offer a refund or alternative solution.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices listed on the Site are in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include sales tax or shipping fees, which will be calculated at checkout or specified in your Order summary.
Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider. Crow and Timber does not store or have access to your full payment details. By submitting payment, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions set by the payment processor.
4. Order Confirmation
After submitting your Order, you will receive a confirmation email summarizing the details. This does not represent formal acceptance of your Order. Your Order is accepted once payment has been verified and processing has begun.
We may contact you if additional details are needed to complete your Order or confirm customization options.
5. Custom Orders
Custom Orders are accepted on a case-by-case basis and require a signed contract and deposit prior to production.
The following cancellation policy applies to all custom work:
The Client may cancel the Project within three (3) calendar days of signing this contract without penalty by providing written notice. After this period, the deposit may be non-refundable depending on time, labor, and material costs already incurred. The Client agrees to pay for any design work, custom orders, or materials already purchased, along with time spent on the Project prior to cancellation. Remaining funds, if any, will be refunded within thirty (30) days following written notice of cancellation and an itemized accounting of incurred costs. The Contractor reserves the right to cancel the Project at any time due to safety concerns, lack of communication, non-payment, or other material breaches of contract. In such cases, the Client will be notified in writing and invoiced for any completed work or materials ordered to date.
6. Order Changes and Cancellations
If you need to modify or cancel a standard (non-custom) Order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once production or shipment has begun, we may be unable to make changes or issue a full refund.
Crow and Timber reserves the right to cancel any Order at our discretion, including cases involving inaccurate pricing, suspected fraud, or unforeseen production issues. In such cases, you will be promptly notified and refunded in full.
7. Taxes
Applicable sales tax will be added to all Orders shipped within the United States, in accordance with state and local laws.
Delivery
1. Shipping Overview
Crow and Timber currently ships orders within the United States. We handle all packaging and fulfillment in-house to ensure each product arrives safely and meets our standards of quality.
Shipping times and rates vary depending on product type, order size, and destination. Estimated delivery timelines will be provided during checkout or in your order confirmation.
2. Processing Time
Many of our products are made to order. Processing time before shipment can range from 2 to 8 weeks, depending on production volume and material availability.
For ready-to-ship items, orders are typically processed within 5–7 business days once payment has been confirmed. Custom orders follow timelines outlined in their individual contracts.
3. Shipping Methods and Rates
Orders are shipped via trusted carriers such as UPS, USPS, or FedEx. The shipping method will be selected based on the size, weight, and value of your order. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and include handling and packaging materials. Oversized or fragile items may require additional packaging or freight shipping, which will be clearly communicated before fulfillment.
4. Delivery Responsibility
Ownership and responsibility for items transfer to the customer once the package has been accepted by the shipping carrier. Crow and Timber is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage that occurs after an order has left our studio.
If your shipment arrives damaged, please photograph the package and item immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you and the carrier to determine an appropriate solution.
5. Local Pickup and Delivery
For customers located in central Iowa, we may offer local delivery or in-person pickup options. Availability and fees for these services will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
Local pickup orders must be collected within 14 days of completion unless otherwise agreed upon. Orders not picked up within that period may incur storage fees.
6. Delivery Delays
While we make every effort to meet estimated delivery times, delays can occur due to supply shortages, weather, or carrier issues. We will notify you as soon as possible if a delay affects your order.
Crow and Timber is not liable for indirect or consequential losses caused by delivery delays.

3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

4. Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging our products for safe delivery. If an item arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Include photos of the packaging and product so we can assess the issue.
If the claim is approved, we will offer repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. The customer may be responsible for returning the damaged item, depending on the situation.
5. Refunds
Once a returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of your refund status. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, excluding shipping costs.
Shipping fees, handling charges, and transaction processing costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
6. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you wish to replace an item, please return the original product (if eligible) and place a new order.
7. Custom Work
Custom work follows the cancellation and refund terms outlined in each project contract. In most cases, deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or work has begun.
See Section 5 of “Placing an Order” for full custom order cancellation details.
8. Warranty Claims
If you believe your item qualifies for a warranty repair or replacement, please review our Limited Warranty terms under the “General” section. All warranty claims require proof of purchase and photographs documenting the issue.
