Every joint is a decision, not a default.
Nothing is dressed up to look like something it is not, and nothing is added just to decorate. Each joint is chosen for the piece it is in, whether it is meant to be seen or meant to disappear. Honest construction is the design.
Crow & Timber was founded by an industrial designer who also builds everything in it. Design school and fabrication training, pursued in parallel, the same discipline approached from both ends.
Every project starts as a design problem. The construction methods inform the design before a line is drawn. That's what Form Follows Fabrication means in practice.
